Job Overview

Iglesias Loans is a financial consulting company that provides specialized lending options and financial services to churches and other nonprofit organizations.

We are seeking a bilingual Commercial Loan Processor to join our Iglesias Loans team. This candidate will need to be fluent in both English and Spanish.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the processing of commercial loan applications, facilitating communication between bankers and clients, and be able to see patterns within financial documents. We are looking for someone who has an understanding of finance, credit analysis, and is able to learn our processes quickly.

The ideal candidate will need to be a great communicator over the phone, via email, text, and in person as communication and customer service is one of our main priorities.

Requirements

  • Bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish
  • Team Player and Teachable
  • Familiarity with credit analysis techniques and financial statement review.
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations related to interest rates, payments, escrow amounts, and amortization schedules.
  • Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, internal teams, and external partners. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic financial environment where precision, regulatory knowledge, and customer service are paramount for success.

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify loan documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Assist in the underwriting process by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess borrower eligibility.
  • Prepare and process loan applications, contracts, disclosures, and other necessary paperwork for commercial loans.
  • Coordinate with mortgage servicing teams to ensure proper escrow setup and management.
  • Conduct credit analysis to evaluate borrower risk profiles and support decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with loan officers to facilitate loan origination from application through approval.
  • Maintain detailed records of all loan processing activities using 10-key typing skills and basic math for calculations related to loan terms and payments.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, underwriters, escrow officers, and other stakeholders throughout the loan lifecycle.
