Job Description: Avantis Resources is seeking a mid -level Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Associate with 3 -5 years of experience to join a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and general corporate matters. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex transactions across various industries within a collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities:Manage and execute M&A transactions, including drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, merger agreements, and ancillary documents.Conduct and oversee due diligence processes, identifying potential risks and advising clients accordingly.Advise clients on corporate governance, compliance, and general corporate matters.Collaborate with cross -functional teams, including tax, finance, and regulatory specialists, to ensure seamless transaction execution.Stay current on evolving corporate laws and regulations to provide clients with up -to -date advice. RequirementsJ.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.Admission to the Florida Bar (or eligibility for admission).3 -5 years of relevant experience in corporate M&A, preferably within a large law firm or reputable boutique firm.Proven ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities in a fast -paced environment.Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.Team -oriented with an emphasis on collaboration.Effective and efficient problem -solving capabilities with the ability to work independently and proactively.
