Job Description
As a Security Officer - Property Patrol Driver in Summit, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a commercial real estate location. You will maintain a visible presence, provide exceptional customer service, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns within the property.Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents.Communicate with site management and Allied Universal regarding any incidents or concerns as required.Assist visitors and tenants with inquiries and provide directions as needed.Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.CPR certification is preferred.A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Closing
