Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - CRE in Summit, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons on the premises. Communicate with property management, tenants, and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed. Complete detailed reports and logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal protocols. Follow all company and location-specific guidelines to help to maintain order and the well-being of occupants and visitors. Minimum Requirements: CPR certification is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
