We are looking for reliable individuals or service providers to deliver top-tier daily custodial and cleaning services across our commercial facilities. Your role will be pivotal in creating clean, safe, and inviting environments that support the well-being of all building staff and visitors. We value attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for excellence. This position offers flexible daytime and evening shifts. All candidates must pass a fingerprint background check.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute comprehensive janitorial duties, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all surfaces to the highest standards.
  • Thoroughly clean and disinfect high-traffic areas such as restrooms and kitchens/break rooms; monitor and restock supplies (e.g., soap, paper products, trash liners) while managing inventory efficiently.
  • Empty waste containers, separate recyclables, and dispose of trash in designated outdoor receptacles.
  • Respond promptly to spills, accidents, or hazards, deploying floor signs and barriers to ensure safety.
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly tasks on time, with precision and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Carry out semi-annual deep cleaning tasks and special projects.
  • Proactively identify and respond to issues to keep facilities in optimal condition.
  • Collaborate with supervisor on ad-hoc duties, adapting to evolving facility requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning roles.
  • Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is essential.
  • Proficiency in the use of cleaning chemicals per OSHA and manufacturer safety guidelines.
  • Prior experience as a porter or in facilities maintenance is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for travel to one or more designated sites.
  • Ability to lift and carry 25-50 lbs, climb stairs, and walk on a regular basis.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to read, communicate, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
  • Clean background check and fingerprint clearance required.

  • Proven track record in commercial cleaning, equipped with your own professional-grade machines and equipment.

  • Advanced expertise in floor maintenance, including buffing, stripping, and waxing VCT flooring; carpet cleaning and shampooing.
  • Capabilities in power washing and exterior window cleaning.
  • Experience with post-construction cleanup.
  • Specialized response for emergencies like flood or sewage backup cleanup.
