This role is based in High Point NC. There is a Hybrid Schedule available out of this location.

What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Monitor and report on key logistics quality metrics
  • Support site-level activities in observing root cause analysis and corrective action tracking activities for logistics-related issues such as shipping errors, carrier nonconformance, and warehouse process deviations
  • Manage a SharePoint site used for quality documentation, forms, standard operating procedures, and training records
  • Develop and maintain dashboards or trackers for audit findings, incident reports, and continuous improvement projects
  • Support internal and customer audits of warehouse and transportation processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and standards as applicable
  • Collaborate with logistics, warehouse, and safety teams to identify process gaps and implement solutions
  • Create and maintain SharePoint-based workflows, libraries, permissions, and version control to streamline quality reporting and approvals
  • Train site personnel on documentation procedures and SharePoint use for quality functions
  • Lead analysis of quality performance metrics, including nonconformances, audit results, and customer feedback
  • Ensure compliance with document control standards, including ISO-based, aerospace, ITAR/EAR, medical, and GFSI-benchmarked protocols, where applicable.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor junior quality team members and provide training on QMS processes and tools.
  • Set up quality systems for new sites; facilitate coordination between site, IT and HRIS
  • Interpret requirements of international standards; review and analyze processes and other requirements (regulatory, customer) to ensure compliance with international standards
  • Support site-specific programs to ensure policies, procedures and work instructions are properly adhered to and compliant with active management system standards
  • Review submitted site-specific quality documentation to ensure subject content is both current and compliant with active Quality Management System (QMS) standards
  • Develop enterprise-wide communications on critical changes or updates on the QMS

What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Aerospace, or a related field or equivalent work or military experience
  • Strong knowledge of globally-recognized quality management systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint (site setup, metadata, workflows, document libraries)
  • Experience in quality data analysis and reporting

It'd be great if you also have:

  • ASQ certification (e.g., CQIA or CQA) or Six Sigma training
  • Experience with quality and/or logistics-related compliance programs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power Automate, Power BI, or Excel for dashboards and automation
  • Experience using Quality Management Systems and integrating data into SharePoint
  • 2 years of experience with quality control
  • Availability to travel 25-30% of the time
  • Auditing experience
  • Solid documentation and editing skills
  • Solid problem-solving and organizational skills; capacity to quickly master new concepts, ideas and practices
