Inside the Role

The Product Strategy & Planning Manager is responsible for the DTSV EVs lifecycle and overall strategy from the inception to implementation, coordinating different discipline teams and stakeholders through quality gates approval. The position needs to monitor and assure specs, cost, time, quality, and profitability targets are properly met and the lifecycle is designed to keep competitiveness and legal compliance.

The position also manages all the aspects of the EV Powertrain, its Electronic Architecture and technology features, including the preparation for the Quality Gates S/10/9 approvals. It's responsible for the EV Roadmap alignment within DTSV and in partnership with DTNA strategy groups.

The current line-up includes Jouley, Wattson, MT50 and all its key components as electronic architecture CEEA+/CEEAce, new tech features – including Safety/ADAS/Telematics.

Position offers a starting salary range of $117,000 - $150,000 USD 

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA

• Plans, monitors, and manage internal projects from initiation through completion.
• Leads and coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing, supply, budget, progress. reporting, troubleshooting and people management.
• Stewards new products from initial concept through technical research/design/manufacture to product launch.
• Aligns strategy and plans within DTSV and with DTNA partners for consistency and clarity.
• Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost.
• Monitors performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions.
• Identifies market opportunities and associate new product strategies.
• Supports related strategic activities such as LRPP, pricing and specs.
• Work with all manufacturing facilities and departments, and interfacing departments for the purpose of analyzing existing structures, methods, systems, and workflows with the objective of streamlining and cost improvement.
• Develops new product value propositions and targeted feature sets.
• Identify / track / report / and manage new CR features for units in the Production Schedule in alignment w/ Teamcenter.
• Align w/ production schedule about releases status for test/pilot and regular units.

Knowledge You Should Bring

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in Product or Program Management
• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience
• At least 1 year of group leader, project lead, or mentoring experience required.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to operate with minimal guidance.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with initiative and resilience

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

• Strategic thinking
• Good technical/mechanical understanding of engines and bus systems
• Experience in Marketing
