UCSF is seeking a Program Administrator to support the Weill Cancer Hub West, a high-profile $200 million cancer research partnership between UCSF, Stanford University, and the Weill Family Foundation, intended to transform cancer care within a decade.

This position will provide administrative support to research project teams, manage administrative and financial analysis and reporting to Weill Cancer Hub West leadership, plan and execute high-profile convenings, and develop and implement Hub communication plans. This is a highly collaborative position, necessitating close coordination with many stakeholders at both UCSF and Stanford including but not limited to executive leadership, finance, development, communications, and research project teams. The Program Administrator will be expected to quickly build and maintain close working relationships within and across institutions.

The Program Administrator will be part of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center (HDFCCC), which is redefining what is possible by advancing cancer research and patient care. By unifying outstanding researchers and clinicians, the center minimizes cancer incidence, establishes new frontiers in cancer care, and improves patients' lives. The HDFCCC holds the prestigious "comprehensive" designation from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and integrates basic science, clinical research, epidemiology, cancer control, and patient care across UCSF.

NOTE: While two such positions are being hired—one primarily based at UCSF and one primarily at Stanford—each will support project teams and activities spanning both universities, including organizing and attending meetings and other events at both campuses. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $93,600 - $140,400 (Annual Rate).
