Part-Time Program Administrator – Adult Living & Learning Department

The Program Administrator provides technical and operational support for the adult and senior programs at the Osher Marin JCC. This is an important role that requires good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task while providing friendly professional customer service, especially to older adults. The AL&L Program Administrator will report directly to the Department Director and work with executive management when the director is leading JCC cultural trips. This is a growth position - It will begin as a temporary six-month position with the potential to move to a permanent role with possible increased duties and hours upon evaluation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates facility needs, program logistics, supplies, and provides marketing and administrative support.
  • Serves as first point of contact for all inquiries and assists with registration procedures and questions about payments for trips and programs.
  • Ensures all program and trip inquiries receive a timely response and works with AL&L Director to maintain accurate master document for program and trip registrants.
  • Processes accounts receivable and accounts payable for programs, manages petty cash and credit card receipts and charge fees, and interface with accounting staff as needed.
  • Represents department at monthly staff meetings and serves as department primary contact for other JCC departments on center-wide initiatives or co-produced programs.
  • Welcomes participants and speaks in front of groups when hosting and publicizing programs.

Qualifications:

  • 3 plus years administrative and program support experience.
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office with an emphasis on Word, Excel and Outlook, Zoom, Eventbrite, Docusign and Canva.
  • Strong organizational, customer service and time management skills.
  • Interested, comfortable and enjoys working with older adults.
  • Good judgement, ability to problem-solve and flexible mindset.

Work Schedule & Duration:

  • This is a growth position that is fully on-site and starting with 18 hours per week temporary six-month capacity with the potential for a permanent role with possible increased duties and hours upon evaluation.
  • Schedule to be T-W-Th for initial 18 hours per week with roughly 6 hours per day.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Pay Range: $22 - $27, based on experience.
