About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Developer with strong expertise in SQL Server, API development, .NET, and Power BI to support the Paratransit Technology Solution (PTS) project. The ideal candidate will be a full-stack problem solver responsible for building scalable data integrations, developing enterprise APIs, and supporting analytics and reporting. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server stored procedures, functions, ETL pipelines, and scheduled SQL jobs.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to enable secure data exchange between on-premise systems and cloud vendor platforms.
  • Perform data migration and synchronization from legacy databases to vendor-managed cloud systems.
  • Build interactive and dynamic Power BI dashboards and reports to support business analytics.
  • Design and maintain .NET applications (C#, ASP.NET Core) for front-end and backend use cases.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather technical requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
  • Implement best practices for data integrity, performance tuning, and security.
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues across all supported technologies.
  • Document system architecture, integration flows, and API specifications.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, performance tuning, indexing)
  • 5+ years developing and consuming REST APIs (C#, .NET, or )
  • 5+ years of development experience using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET MVC/Core)
  • 3+ years building Power BI dashboards and DAX queries
  • Strong understanding of ETL concepts and data integration workflows
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and source control (Git, Azure DevOps)
  • Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with React or Angular
  • Experience with Azure Cloud Services (API Management, SQL MI, Logic Apps)
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture
  • Experience in transportation, logistics, or public transit systems
