We're excited to announce an opportunity for a
Senior Oracle Database Developer
to join a dynamic team focused on transforming and optimizing core financial technologies. This role plays a critical part in a
major decommissioning initiative aimed at transitioning from a legacy third-party reporting tool (Geneva) to newer technologies by 2027. If you're an expert in Oracle DB development, SQL
, and looking for a challenging role in an agile, fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize data structures for various applications.
  • Lead the transition from a legacy system (Geneva), leveraging your deep understanding of SQL and data management practices.
  • Continuously improve products and processes while also expanding your skill set and embracing new technologies.
  • Work in an agile environment, delivering high-quality solutions within deadlines.

Required Skills:

  • 8-10+ years of Oracle DB development experience.
  • Strong SQL querying, stored procedures, triggers, functions, views, partitioning.
  • Experience in performance tuning, SQL Loader, Oracle AQ messaging.
  • Python scripting, Shell scripting, Linux environments.
  • Data analysis and design expertise.
  • Agile methodology experience.
  • 5+ years in financial services (capital markets/prime brokerage preferred).
  • Excellent communication with technical and business teams.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of core Java.
  • AWS Cloud experience.
