Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role (some hybrid / flexible work arrangements possible) for a Senior Accountant located in Palm Beach, Florida. The Senior Accountant will manage and oversee daily accounting operations, which include book-keeping in Xero, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, managing ledger entries, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. They will also handle tax compliance, budgeting, and facilitate audits. This will involve all of our entities, including US, Cayman Islands and UK companies dealing with multiple currencies.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in accounting software (Xero) and budgeting / forecasting / reporting / expense approval add-ons.
  • Experience in preparing financial statements, account reconciliation, and managing ledger entries.
  • Experience in tax compliance, budgeting, and facilitating audits.
  • Familiarity with multiple-currencies and currency conversions.
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Project Management and multi-tasking capability.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team, in a dynamic on-site setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with lending or investment accounting is a plus.
