Brunsell Lumber & Millwork is seeking a full-time Window & Door Service Technician. Brunsell Lumber and Millwork is southern Wisconsin's leader in building materials proudly servicing retail and professional contractors. We sell only premium-quality building products in areas such as framing lumber, roof and floor trusses, wall panels, floor systems, exterior decking, windows, interior doors, mouldings, stairparts, cabinetry, etc.... Brunsell Lumber & Millwork is family-owned with a highly trained staff whose mission is to deliver top-quality services and peace-of-mind to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with customers as well as team members company-wide
  • Diagnosing and repairing various windows and patio doors
  • Identify/order parts, enter service details, communicate w/customers, etc...)
  • Performing installation inspections (Walk Thru Service)
  • Scheduling service/service-related appointments
  • Lifting heavily weighted service items (e.g. window sash, door panels, etc....)
  • Assisting in the jambing/mulling of windows and patio doors
  • Participating in company-provided educational opportunities to enhance service knowledge
  • Performing assignments as deemed necessary by Window Dept. Manager

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in the construction industry, trade or related work experience
  • Accurate and detail-orientated
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Excellent time-management
  • Working knowledge of power tools
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally

Preferred Skill Set

  • Skilled trade experience replacing windows and patio doors
  • Home improvement/replacement contractor industry experience
  • Finish carpentry skills
