Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist with cooking tasks to support the kitchen staff in delivering quality dishes efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Follow food safety standards and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen fully equipped for service
- Support the team during busy periods by helping with order assembly and ensuring timely delivery of food items
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and uphold high standards of service
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of supply needs
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by demonstrating enthusiasm, reliability, and a proactive attitude
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work well within a team
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and adhere to safety and hygiene standards
- Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with colleagues
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on diverse responsibilities in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks required in kitchen operations
