Climate Pros, the leader in Commercial Refrigeration, is seeking a dynamic Regional Vice President for our Midwest Region.

Reports to Chief Operation Officer

Location: Chicago area preferred or another major city located in the Midwest Region

As the RVP, you will have P&L responsibility and play a crucial role in enhancing the profitability of the region. As the leader for this region, you will be responsible for the safety of all employees, customer and employee engagement and success, the strategic long-term planning to drive growth and continuous improvement of operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve on the Regional leadership team for a large, distributed branch-based commercial/industrial refrigeration services business and contribute to defining the strategic priorities for rapid growth while delivering outstanding customer experience.
  • Promote a culture of safety commitment beyond compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead the engagement of the region's workforce to develop a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative team whose demonstrates the values of Climate Pros.
  • Collaborate with the President and executive team to set company goals, KPIs, and benchmarks.
  • Work with the CFO and finance team to set budgets, forecast needs, and oversee expenditures, ensuring efficient resource allocation and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Integrate acquisitions successfully and ensure operational synergies in the region.
  • Partner with the Chief Sales Officer to identify opportunities to grow business with new customers and retain and expand the existing customer base.
  • Work with leadership and Human Resources to create a workforce plan and identify talent requirements to support the growth of your region and continuous improvement in operations.
  • Standardize, implement, and continuously improve operational processes and procedures across the branch network.
  • Drive the adoption of innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency, customer service, and cost savings.
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration and strengthen internal communications.
  • Provide strong organizational leadership and champion company-wide initiatives.

Required Skills, Education and Competencies

  • Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience with expertise in industrial services and modernization.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, construction or engineering or related education.
  • Proven experience managing a P&L of over $150M with advanced knowledge in HVAC/R, Mechanical, High-Skilled Labor industries or similar industrial services.
  • Strong leadership abilities in a decentralized environment.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong command of financial performance indicators, facts and details needed to establish strategic plans, budgets to drive the business and collaborate with finance and accounting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Travel required to be successful in this role both within the region and to leadership and customer meetings, as well as industry conferences.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk; occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds; noise level is usually moderate.

Target Base Salary Range: $175,000 - $225,000 USD
