Direct Reports: Assistant Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Operators

About the Role

The Warehouse Manager oversees all daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety across the site. This leader manages personnel, inventory, equipment, and customer interactions to meet key performance and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage warehouse teams to execute daily operations efficiently and on time.
  • Oversee staff scheduling, performance, equipment maintenance, and facility upkeep.
  • Maintain close communication with customer service to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Implement and monitor warehouse safety, security, and compliance standards.
  • Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Train, coach, and evaluate warehouse staff according to established SOPs.
  • Conduct and oversee regular stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare internal documentation, reports, and archive records as required.
  • Manage cost control initiatives and ensure profitability of the warehouse site.
  • Support audits and certifications conducted by external clients.
  • Lead weekly operations meetings with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Perform overtime duties as necessary to meet business demands.
  • Undertake other related tasks as assigned.

Key Relationships

  • Internal: Business Departments 1 & 2, Overseas Business Department, Operations, and Customer Service.
  • External: Existing and potential customers, vendors, drivers, and logistics partners.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Associate degree or higher in logistics, supply chain, or related discipline.
  • Experience:
  • Proven background in warehouse management or operations.
  • Customer service experience strongly preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication in both English and Chinese preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Proficient in warehouse systems and operational software.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong customer orientation with a professional service attitude.
  • Personal Attributes: Responsible, detail-oriented, disciplined, and a true team player.

Performance Metrics

  • Achievement of warehouse KPIs (accuracy, timeliness, cost control).
  • Customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Safety and audit compliance.
  • Profitability and operational efficiency of the warehouse site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
