Job Description And Duties
Effective July 1, 2025, in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit R01 , and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by 3 percent and will receive 5 hours PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes. Part-time employees are subject to the same conditions as full-time employees, on a prorated basis equivalent to their time-base. Permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same condition as full-time employees, based on the number of hours worked in the pay period.
Limited Term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.
Under general supervision of the Supervisor I, the Analyst I I has the responsibility for the Training Program for the CCHCS, administrative, nursing, medical, and clinical staff members. The Analyst II consult with staff, reviews and analyzes training needs, makes recommendations for additions, deletions, and changes to the existing training program based on the goals and objectives of the California Correctional Health Care Services. The Analyst II works with California Department of Corrections (CDCR), and the Department of State Hospitals-Stockton (DSH-Stockton), and In-Service Training staff (IST) in a collaborative partnership to ensure that facility-specific required training is conducted and/or completed by CCHCS employees.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates who are within six months of satisfying the experience requirement will be admitted to the examination, but they must fully meet the experience requirement before being eligible for appointment.
Four years of work experience performing analytical, technical, clerical, and/or customer service duties. Academic education from an accredited college/university may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis;

An additional year of professional analytical and/or technical experience equivalent to an Analyst I, Range C.
