We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Preparation Worker to join our culinary team. Duties

  • Assist with the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning surfaces, equipment, and utensils.
  • Support chefs and cooks in various cooking tasks as needed, ensuring timely service during meal periods.
  • Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of food items.
  • Participate in buffet setups and assist with banquet service when required.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.

Skills

  • Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with restaurant or hotel environments is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong cleaning skills to maintain a sanitary kitchen environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
  • Previous experience in catering or banquet services is beneficial.
