Job Overview

Singletary Transport LLC is hiring a dependable and motivated Delivery Driver (Independent Contractor) to join our growing logistics team in Greenville, NC.

You'll start your day at the Greenville warehouse, loading packages into a company-provided cargo van, and delivering to residential and business locations across the Outer Banks (OBX) region.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, being on the road, and taking pride in completing their route efficiently and accurately.

We're looking for reliable, professional drivers who want long-term stability and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Arrive at the Greenville warehouse by 5:00 AM daily
  • Sort and load packages before departure
  • Safely operate a company-provided cargo van on assigned routes
  • Deliver packages to businesses, residences, and medical facilities in the Outer Banks (OBX) area
  • Ensure all deliveries are accurate, on time, and handled with care
  • Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service at each stop
  • Complete route sheets, delivery logs, and required paperwork through our delivery app
  • Keep company vehicle clean and well-maintained at all times
  • Follow all company safety procedures and delivery protocols

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Reliable smartphone (required for delivery app)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle packages throughout the day
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
  • Must pass a background check and drug test
  • Previous delivery or courier experience a plus (not required)
  • Must be available Monday – Friday (optional Saturday routes may be offered)
  • Must be able to start in Greenville, NC at 5:00 AM daily

Compensation & Benefits

  • Up to $800 per week
