What you'll do

  • Safely operate box trucks for deliveries, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload goods efficiently, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Deliver products to various locations while maintaining an organized route schedule.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability before each trip.
  • Handle heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring safe practices are followed at all times.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments.
  • Assist with warehouse operations when needed, contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Basic qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently.
  • Class B or higher Commercial Driver's license with air brakes endorsement.
  • Two years of prior experience driving heavy commercial trucks.
  • Excellent reading and writing skills

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems.
  • Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards problem-solving.
