Insurance Customer Service Representative

Position Summary
The Bilingual Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) provides exceptional customer service and support to clients in both English and Spanish. This role assists with policy management, renewals, billing inquiries, claims processing, and general account maintenance while ensuring compliance with company policies and insurance regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with customers in English and Spanish via phone, email, and in-person.
- Assist clients with policy changes, coverage questions, billing issues, and insurance documentation.
- Process new applications, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements.
- Provide accurate information about insurance products, coverage options, and claims procedures.
- Support agents and producers by preparing quotes, gathering client information, and maintaining client files.
- Handle customer complaints and escalate complex issues to management as needed.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when handling customer information.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal insurance regulations.
- Perform administrative duties such as data entry, scanning, filing, and maintaining organized client records.
Qualifications
- Bilingual fluency required (English and Spanish).
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred).
- Insurance license (Property & Casualty or Life & Health) preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Previous experience in insurance, banking, or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and insurance agency management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
