Truck Driver Class A CDL Instructor

Looking for a truck driving instructor. We have a current part time temporary position available, with a strong chance of turning into a permanent position in January. No previous instructor experience necessary.

Requirements:

  • Must work well in a team setting
  • 2 years experience driving (can be discussed)
  • Current Class A with DOT physical and drug test
  • Clean record (can be discussed)
  • Punctual
  • Prefer local to Corona/Norco/Elsinore/Riverside

We need someone who is proficient at backing the truck, driving out on the road, and able to shift. We will train the right individual on what to teach and how we teach.

By far the most important quality in an applicant is patience. We try to provide our students with top quality customer service. Students struggle many times throughout the training and we need instructors who stay calm, cool, and collected. Students need to be encouraged and not chastised.

We try to make this job as low stress as possible. We are all here to help students achieve their goals. This position would be great for someone who is looking to get off the road, is retired, or winding down their driving career and would like a relaxed atmosphere to pass along their knowledge and experience to students looking to begin their careers.

Starting pay is $24.00/hour. 10 hour days. Overtime paid after 8 hours. Saturday availability needed.
