Overview

We are seeking a a motivated pharmacist to join our team. Great work environment with help provided, including benefits and employee perks. This a Part time position.

Duties

  • Accurately review, prepare, and dispense prescription medications in accordance with all legal and ethical standards. This includes compounding medications when necessary.
  • Provide comprehensive counseling to patients on the proper use of their medications, including dosage, frequency, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Monitor patient drug therapies and health regimens for effectiveness, safety, and potential issues, such as drug-drug interactions or contraindications based on patient allergies and medical conditions.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all state and federal pharmacy laws, including DEA regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and USP standards.
  • Manage and maintain pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and proper handling of all pharmaceutical supplies, including controlled substances.
  • Consult with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to clarify prescriptions and resolve any medication-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with other operational and administrative duties as needed.
  • Stay current with advances in pharmacology and pharmacy practice by participating in continuing education and professional development activities.
