Job Summary

Pharmacist Job Description – Pill Team Inc.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday — 10 AM to 6 PM

Responsibilities


•* Arrive on time and remain on duty until closing at 6 PM.*


•* Ensure full compliance with state, federal, and insurance regulations.*


•* Verify all prescriptions and perform final clinical checks before dispensing.*


•* Keep pharmacy licenses and insurance documents updated and make sure updates are communicated to insurers and patients when needed.*


•* Supervise, train, and guide technicians and interns; most daily workflow will be handled by them, but the pharmacist must oversee and ensure accuracy.*


•* Build and maintain relationships with nearby doctors and their staff to increase referrals and prescription volume.*


•* Prepare weekly reports showing:*


•* Total prescriptions dispensed*


•* New patients added*


•* New prescriptions*


•* Total refills*


•* All broken down by insurance type*


•* Enforce dress code and make sure all staff wear name tags inside the pharmacy area.*


•* Personal phone use only for emergencies; no social media or non-work phone activity during work hours.*


•* Provide patient consultations using their name, and recommend vitamins when appropriate.*

Qualifications


•* Licensed Pharmacist in New York*


•* Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, insurance processes, and clinical checks*


•* Good communication and leadership skillsDuties*

We open from 10 am to 6 pm Monday THR fRIDAYS with always help of tec on duty

WE need for 4 days week Pharmacist 8 hours a day we are doing 100 Rx a day

  • Dispense medications accurately using pharmacy software and ensure compliance with all legal and safety standards
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy plans
  • Provide expert consultation on medication administration, immunizations, IV infusion, compounding medications, and aseptic techniques
  • Manage medication inventory, including ordering, stock rotation, and controlled substance accountability
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams on medical management, pain management, and acute care protocols
  • Educate patients on medication use, potential side effects, and health maintenance strategies
  • Maintain detailed documentation within EMR/EHR systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations
  • Perform patient service activities such as immunizations and patient counseling in accordance with clinical guidelines
  • Assist in training pharmacy technicians and supporting staff as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols related to IV insertion, aseptic technique, physiology knowledge, anatomy knowledge, and medication safety

Qualifications

  • Valid pharmacist license with current registration in the state of employment

  • Prior experience in pharmacy retail environments preferred; experience is a plus

  • Demonstrated clinical pharmacy experience with proficiency in patient care activities including patient assessment and medical management

  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team while maintaining high standards of accuracy and patient confidentiality
