We are seeking a Business Development Manager to identify and cultivate new business opportunities across key verticals including Corporate, Education, Healthcare, and Government. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with industry influencers, and generating qualified leads for our sales team. This full-time position offers a
base annual salary of
$60,000 - $65,000 with a competitive performance-based bonus package
, along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, paid time off, and 401(k) match. The role will be based out of our Boulder, CO office.

Responsibilities:

As the Business Development Manager for BC Interiors, you are a natural networker with a deep understanding of the commercial interiors industry and a passion for connecting people with solutions that enhance their environments. You'll play a critical role in expanding our market presence through direct outreach, strategic partnerships, and active participation in industry events.

This position requires regular attendance at trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences to build brand awareness and foster new relationships. Travel will be required approximately 25–40% of the time, including regional conferences, client visits, showroom tours, and attending national events such as NeoCon and EDspaces. You'll collaborate closely with our sales and design teams to ensure a seamless transition from lead generation to client engagement, helping us deliver exceptional service and design-forward solutions.

We are a growing company, and that means you will be required to wear multiple hats throughout your day, however your primary responsibilities will be:


• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target verticals and geographies (corporate, education, healthcare, etc.).


• Develop and maintain relationships with architects, designers, commercial real estate, project managers, and decision-makers.


• Generate qualified leads and set meetings for the sales team.


• Collaborate with marketing to develop outreach campaigns and attend industry events.


• Track and report on pipeline activity, market trends, and competitive intelligence.


• Work closely with Account Executives and Leadership to align strategies and hand off qualified opportunities.

Qualifications:



  Currently based in Colorado (relocation is not available)


• years of business development or sales experience, preferably in contract furniture, architecture & design, commercial construction, or related industries.


• Strong network within the Colorado A&D (Architecture & Design), Construction, and Commercial Real Estate  community is strongly preferred.


• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.


• Self-starter with a strategic mindset and ability to work independently.


• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting.


• Proof of successful business development track record including meeting performance metrics


• Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
