Description
Do you want to be part of a team with a critical mission and real-world impact? Join AWS Region Services and help our growing organization deliver the security, speed, and value of the AWS Cloud to commercial and government-focused customers.
AWS Region Services is looking for an exceptionally effective, forward-thinking, and self-motivated individual to support two directors. This role requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and a talent for juggling critical requests. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company are important. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the total picture.
You will have ownership of busy executive calendars, requiring the ability to coordinate complex projects, meetings, and events. You must have a proven ability to plan ahead and manage time effectively, to quickly learn organizational structure and team objectives, and to adapt to Amazon's principles and environment. A good sense of humor is a must, as is the ability to be flexible and change direction at a moment's notice, work in a team environment, and build effective working relationships inside and outside the organization.
The candidate selected must obtain and maintain a security clearance at the TS/SCI. Upon start, the selected candidate will be sponsored for a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.
