Description
Medix Infusion is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team in Portland, OR (Greater Area). As an Account Executive, you will identify growth opportunities within local practices, hospitals, and healthcare systems to facilitate referrals and coordinate patient care. You will play an active role in account management and business development, building relationships with both internal and external customers.
Medix Infusion provides personalized home and in-suite infusion therapy services for patients with chronic or acute conditions. Our dedicated team ensures each patient's journey is as smooth as possible. We offer a range of medical infusion therapies, including anti-infectives, biologics, IVIG, and other injectable and infusion treatments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect new clients, increase penetration across divisions within existing clients, and build long-term relationships.
- Thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced work environment that is both competitive and rewarding.
- Travel to and develop all markets within the assigned territory.
- Serve as the primary liaison between accounts and the front-end team to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Develop strategic growth plans to cultivate the territory.
- Achieve or exceed monthly quotas set forth by the sales manager.
- Initiate and maintain routine contacts with existing clients to ensure a seamless referral experience.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to assist in patient referrals and capture any additional documentation needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of proven sales experience.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
- Candidates must have prior infusion medication sales experience.
- Experience in cold calling and opening new accounts.
- Ability to identify, qualify, and close accounts.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in making multiple referrals calls to medical professionals daily.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit, attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Medix Infusion team.
- Proficiency in using company email, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office products, and company self-service payroll software (time and attendance, benefits, pay statements).
- Ability to navigate Internet Explorer and use office equipment.
- Sensitivity to cultural and language differences as they pertain to patient care delivery.
- Basic mathematical computation skills.
- Must be able to perform all the essential functions of the role with or without accommodations.
