The Desk Project Manager is a results driven, experienced Telecom Professional with excellent communication skills to Manage Project Implementations and Upgrades (including: Avaya, Avaya IPO, Nortel, Cisco, Interactive Intelligence, and Unify Systems).

• Manages Project Implementations such as:
  • Hardware additions to existing systems
  • Software upgrades for existing systems
  • New installations of systems
• Manages and maintains project time-line
• Manages and maintains project budget
• Meets the requirement of the project as detailed in the scope of work
• Meets customer expectations and process (internal and external)
• Maintains a high degree of customer satisfaction

Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Works extended hours as required by the job

Required Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in Telecommunication/IT Project Planning/Management
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
• Strong Problem Solving, Decision Making, Organizational, and Negotiation
• Ability to Work with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Excel
• 4-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related experience

• PMP certifications
