Named "Best Retirement Community in Rhode Island" a record eight times, The Village at Waterman Lake in Greenville, seeks a compassionate, career-oriented individual to join our award-winning team as a full-time Director of Nursing. The ideal candidate will be able to successfully perform the duties of DON in keeping with our culture and high standards of excellence.

As Director of Nursing in our Assisted Living Building, The Lodge, you will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of seniors on a daily basis. Responsibilities include leading the Lodge nursing team by example, teaching, coaching and inspiring them, to ensure the delivery of care and service in keeping with The Village's high standards.

Working in concert with the Chief Operating Officer and other department managers, The Director of Nursing will be responsible for helping promote the physical, personal, and emotional well-being of each resident, while ensuring compliance with current State regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven experience in staffing, leading, developing, and retaining a strong care team.

Requirements:

  • Must be a licensed RN in the state of Rhode Island.
