The Margaritaville Lake Tahoe is looking for an Area Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You will be responsible for the leadership and management of the valet/bell service operation for the hotel. This role involves maintaining client relationships, ensuring an excellent guest experience, and supervising all employees no matter the season.

The position includes a variety of duties to meet organizational needs.

Budget and Financial Management:

  • Plan projects adhering to approved budgets and schedules.
  • Monitor operational budgets and control costs during high and low seasons.
  • Conduct preliminary reviews of reports, budgets, revenues, and expenses to ensure accuracy.

Operational Oversight:

  • Navigating the dynamic shifts in business volume driven by seasonal demand.
  • Forecast staffing needs and adjust scheduled based on seasonal demand.
  • Ensure meeting deadlines for all weekly and monthly reports.
  • Communicate with the hotel team regarding occupancy levels and special events.

Client and Guest Relations:

  • Interact directly with clients to maintain and enhance relationships.
  • Proactively follow up with guest issues or concerns to ensure satisfaction.
  • Participate in hotel meetings and property improvement projects.

Staff Management:

  • Provide supervision and oversight to a valet team up to 50 employees.
  • Collaborate with HR and senior leadership on hiring, training, and retention.
  • Promote safety and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in management or related field preferred.
  • 2-3 years of parking experience and 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record (manual transmission experience preferred).
  • Computer Skills:
  • Basic typing and word processing skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Windows.

Physical Appearance: All employees must present a professional, well-groomed appearance.

Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds and regularly walk, stand for long periods, talk, hear, taste, and smell.

Compensation:

  • $85,000-100,000
  • Bonus Potential
