JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties: Develop, implement, deploy, and support the Home Lending suite of applications. Minimize application outages, meet required service levels, prioritize workload, and provide 24x7 coverage on a rotation for the production application. Debug logs, troubleshoot code to provide quick workarounds, and minimize business impacts. Perform daily monitoring of batch processes, Secure File Transfer Protocol processes, and application health, and work with developers to resolve ongoing issues. Perform impact analysis to ensure alignment with firm standards, escalate business impacting incidents to management, and provide timely updates. Perform root cause analysis of production issues and provide permanent solutions to prevent recurrences. Triage issues with the infrastructure team, partner systems, and internal and external vendors for ongoing production items and new implementations. Address user queries regarding production access issues and application functionality. Perform analysis of application data and report discrepancies to the business team. Design, develop, and review critical applications, including flow charts, functional diagrams, and documentation. Implement monitoring and increase efficiency by eliminating manual tasks by automation, and developing tools and processes. Conduct meetings with the business to understand production requirements and create pseudo-code. Perform continuous improvement, unit testing, and tracking of defects and enhancements.

Qualifications
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Technology Support, Computer Programmer, Software Developer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: Level2 support. This position requires any amount of experience with the following: one or more programming languages including Progress 4GL/OpenEdge, Unix, AWS and Python; development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software; cloud deployment, monitoring, and analysis tools such as Kubernetes, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, and Dyna Trace; relational databases such as Oracle, Sybase, Cassandra and Hadoop; public and private cloud technology such as AWS; batch processing tools such as Control-M(BMC Remedy), ESP, TWS, CRON and Autosys; complex end to end business flows; triage issues based on symptoms; file moving technologies such as MFTS, SFTP and FileMover; Middleware including Weblogic, Apache Tomcat, Web Services, MQ-Series, and KAF; ITIL including Incident and Change Management; Using Business Intelligence(BI) reporting tools such as BO Report, Crystal Report, or Tableau; tracking defects, continuous improvement and automation of manual tasks; managing outages, evaluating service-levels for business impacts, and prioritizing incidents; managing DR, SR activities for applications.
