Position Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Dean of Culture for a partner school. The Assistant Dean of Culture supports a positive student culture focused on achievement and social-emotional development. This role includes direct supervision, intervention services, data tracking, and contributing to school-wide behavior management and community building.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and de-escalate student crises and support students through intervention
  • Provide insight on culture strategies and school systems
  • Monitor transitions, lunch, recess, and student movement
  • Facilitate community-building activities
  • Support restorative practices implementation
  • Track culture data in information systems
  • Monitor positive incentive systems and support plans
  • Partner with families on support strategies
  • Implement school expectations and behavior systems daily
  • Uphold social-emotional development practices

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's preferred
  • Experience working with elementary students; school-based experience preferred
  • Special education training or degree preferred
  • Experience with restorative practices or responsive classroom strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organization
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
  • Mission-aligned and solutions-oriented mindset

Pay: $65, $75,000.00 per year
