Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing services for the college¿s third party events and auxiliary services. Will be required to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities
1 -

  • Works with the Dual Enrollment program and bookstore to provide materials needed for student success and submit payment requests for the materials. Provides monthly data and financial reporting for each auxiliary unit and sales and services accounts including the Southeast Georgia Conference Center and the Coastal Community Center for the Arts.

  • Develops and organizes marketing plans and events for auxiliary services for the campus. Maintain the Events and Auxiliary Services webpage.

  • Oversees the vending contractors and verifying campus vending machines to ensure product quality, quantity and operations.

  • Reviews dining menu options to ensure quality menus for all dietary needs and work as liaison between students and dining services as needed.

¿Collects feedback on events and auxiliary services programs. Shares feedback with appropriate administrators to ensure campus and customer satisfaction.

  • Assists with the coordination and oversight of event setups, including front of house and back of house, attends events to provide customer service as needed.

  • Coordinates the purchase of office and conference center supplies.

  • Maintain communication with vendors and third-party clients.

  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field required.

Required Experience

  • More than one year of related experience required

Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Auxiliary Services Professional (CASP) designation.
  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP)

Preferred Educational Qualifications

  • Degree in Hospitality or Event management

Preferred Experience

  • More than 3 years of related experience in the field of event management and/or higher education auxiliary services.

  • Knowledge of budget development and management principles.
