About KLINGER GPI

KLINGER GPI was formed through the 2020 acquisition of West Texas-based Gasket & Packings, Inc., and the 2023 merger with KLINGER's gasket manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas. With four Texas locations, KLINGER GPI provides a comprehensive range of fluid sealing and control products - including gaskets, valves, instruments, expansion joints, fasteners, hydraulic bolt tightening equipment, and more. We also offer accredited in-house and mobile calibration and repair services for industrial facilities.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Warehouse & VMI Associate, you'll play a key role in our supply chain, both in the warehouse and out in the field.

In the warehouse, you'll:

• Handle shipping and receiving

• Conduct inventory counts

• Maintain organization and stock accuracy

As a VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) Associate, you'll:

• Load products and drive to customer sites across your assigned territory

• Provide daily onsite support, ensuring shelves and boards are properly stocked

• Use our ERP system (P21) to assess stock levels and place orders as needed

• Build relationships with site managers and workers, you'll be the face of KLINGER GPI to our customers

This role is active and physical. Perfect for someone who enjoys working independently and being outdoors.

What's Tough About It

This job isn't for everyone. You'll face:

• West Texas weather extremes (heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow)

• Long walks and frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs regularly)

• Outdoor conditions, including wildlife and insects

• Required PPE: fire suit, steel-toe boots, hard hat, H₂S monitor, and other safety gear

• Routine inventory work and varied personalities at customer sites

What We're Looking For

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Able to pass a background check (required for site access)

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Customer support or warehouse experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and organization

• Effective oral and written communication skills

• Basic computer knowledge and ability to use a barcode scanner

• Ability to work independently and adapt to different environments
