Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a passionate and skilled Automation Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an Automation Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance and Digital Transformation departments, supporting innovative projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Design automation solutions based on detailed requirements, including inputs, processes, outputs, exception paths, and error handling.
  • Configure commands for automation to execute tasks or processes as specified, reviewing progress with subject matter experts to validate functionality.
  • Conduct end-to-end functionality testing with test data, validating results and making necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain proficiency with Digital Labor tools, recommending new tools, processes, and procedures to enhance automation capabilities.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of reference architecture, standards, guidelines, and best practices in automation.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of five years experience in IT systems delivery, including SDLC, scripting, MS tools, and basic development languages.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft technologies such as .NET, IIS, and reporting solutions, along with SQL Server administration.
  • Experience with middleware technologies like ESB and MQ series, and familiarity with Digital Labor tools such as Automation Anywhere and Blue Prism.
  • Prior experience with end-to-end application testing, defect management, change and release management, and providing production support, including off-hours and weekend support.
