An Arts Non-Profit Executive Director oversees all operations and ensures the organization fulfills its mission. This role involves strategic planning, fundraising, financial management, program development, and community engagement, while also leading and managing staff, volunteers and building relationships with stakeholders including the City of Lancaster and the Long's Park Commission.

Key Responsibilities:

Develops and implements the organization's strategic plan, working closely with the board of directors.

Oversees the budget, fundraising efforts, and financial reporting, ensuring the organization's financial health.

Develops and manages arts programs that align with the organization's mission and meet the needs of the community.

Leads fundraising initiatives, including grant writing, individual giving, and special events.

Oversees paid staff and volunteer staff working closely with the executive committee.

Represents the organization to the public, builds relationships with stakeholders, and promotes the arts within the community.

Collaborates with and supports the board of directors, keeping them informed of organizational progress and seeking their guidance.

Oversees all aspects of the organization's operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

Advocates for the arts and the organization's mission within the community and with relevant stakeholders.

Regularly evaluates the organization's programs and operations to ensure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience leading and managing teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Management skills with a focus on event management to ensure that our events are planned and executed correctly.

: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans, with a strong understanding of organizational goals and objectives.

Demonstrated success in fundraising, including grant writing and donor cultivation.

Experience managing budgets, financial reporting, and ensuring fiscal responsibility.

Experience developing and managing arts programs, with a focus on community engagement.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

A passion for the arts and a strong understanding of the arts and culture landscape.

Experience working in a non-profit organization, preferably in the arts.
