JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a hands-on Technical Product Manager to lead the development and deployment of our residential and business VoIP platform. This role goes beyond traditional product management – we need someone who can roll up their sleeves, write code, directly contribute to the architecture, integration, and automation of our VoIP services while also driving the roadmap and managing stakeholder expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES:
Proficiency with SIP, RTP, WebRTC, SBCs, Asterisk/FreeSWITCH/Kamailio or similar VoIP platforms.Strong programming/scripting skills, with experience in RESTful APIs, JSON, and database integrations.Experience deploying VoIP at scale (tens of thousands of endpoints or more).Ability to lead cross-functional teams while still contributing hands-on code and technical solutions.Preferred Skills
Cloud VoIP deployment experience).Telecom industry experience (fiber ISPs, CLECs, or hosted VoIP providers).Familiarity with regulatory requirements for VoIP (E911, STIR/SHAKEN, number portability).EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
5+ years' experience in VoIP engineering, software development, or technical product management.Bachelor's degree preferred.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
