Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Android application development and be proficient in various programming languages and frameworks. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications that enhance user experience and meet business requirements. This role requires a passion for technology, an understanding of user research, and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Java, Kotlin, or C#.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive user interfaces that enhance user experience.
  • Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party libraries for improved functionality.
  • Conduct user research to gather feedback and improve application features.
  • Utilize design patterns such as MVC to ensure scalable and maintainable code.
  • Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure application reliability and performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes using tools like Jenkins or GitHub.
  • Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQLite for data storage solutions.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in mobile application development and propose innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Android development with a solid understanding of the Android SDK.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, C#, or Python.
  • Familiarity with web services (REST/SOAP), JSON, XML, and APIs.
  • Knowledge of multithreading concepts and debugging techniques.
  • Understanding of computer networking principles and software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Gradle.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of additional frameworks or technologies such as Xamarin, Angular, iOS development (Objective-C/Swift), HTML/CSS is a plus.
