The Patient Relations Specialist will work closely with patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff to facilitate a smooth registration experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients with a warm and friendly smile upon arrival and assist them with the registration process.
  • Collect and verify patient information, including personal details and insurance coverage.
  • Input data into computerized systems accurately and maintain up-to-date patient files.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive patient information.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals to facilitate efficient patient flow.
  • Answer patient inquiries regarding registration procedures, insurance, and appointment scheduling.
  • Assist in maintaining organized filing systems for both electronic and paper records.
  • Support administrative tasks as needed to enhance overall office efficiency.
