Field Supervisor
As the Field Supervisor you will be responsible for providing on-site supervision of equipment and personnel in a safe and conscientious manner providing value and customer satisfaction to internal and external customers.
Essential Functions & Requirements:
- Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
- Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
- Supervises the site crew to ensure that work is performed according to consultant and client specifications; operates each job in the most efficient manner possible.
- Oversees the safety of the crew to ensure that workers are wearing proper safety equipment and utilizing safe work practices.
- Keeps client informed of job progress; answers client on-site questions and maintains good client relations.
- Completes daily paperwork to track labor, equipment, supplies and materials used for billing purposes and other associated paperwork; keeps project manager apprised of changes in usage from contract.
- Fills in for any crew position as needed.
- Supervises emergency response crews when needed.
- May participate in hiring, performance evaluation, disciplining, promotion and termination decisions.
Education:
- High School Diploma or its equivalent (required)
Experience:
- Minimum three years hazardous waste field experience required.
Competencies:
- Regular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role
