Mosaic Early Learning Center—a Gold-Rated program through the State of Ohio—is seeking a Toddler Teacher who is genuinely excited to come to work each day. Toddlers are wonderfully spirited and full of energy—curious, expressive, and full of personality—and we're looking for someone who sees that as a gift rather than a challenge.

We need a teacher who is:

Engaged and present — someone who gets on the floor, plays alongside children, and follows their lead.

Child-centered — you value open-ended play, exploration, and teaching through connection.

A strong classroom leader — confident, calm, and able to set a positive tone for both children and coworkers.

A team player — willing to collaborate, communicate, and support the overall classroom environment.

Consistent and dependable — toddlers thrive on routine, so reliability is essential.

What You'll Do:

  • Create a warm, predictable, and playful environment for toddlers
  • Plan developmentally appropriate, hands-on experiences
  • Build strong relationships with families
  • Support children during transitions, big emotions, and everyday learning moments
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
  • Model positive interactions and guide assistant teachers
  • Complete observations, documentation, and ongoing assessments using the Creative Curriculum framework

Qualifications (Required):

  • Strong, proven experience working with toddlers in an early childhood setting
  • CDA or a degree in Early Childhood Education (required)
  • Experience with Creative Curriculum, including observations, documentation, and assessments
  • Solid understanding of child development and play-based learning
  • Ability to lift, bend, sit on the floor, and keep up with active toddlers
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
