Territory Sales Representative – Florida Market

Location: Orlando, FL

Facility Supported: Homerville, GA

Compensation: Base Salary $40,000 + Commission ($20,000 first year, growing to $40,000+)

Ohio Mulch Supply, a leading manufacturer of mulch, soil, and landscape products, is expanding into the Florida market and seeking a motivated Territory Sales Representative to help grow our presence. This is a field-based role ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships and driving sales in a hands-on, outdoor industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow sales with local landscapers, nurseries, and garden supply retailers.
  • Represent Ohio Mulch's product line including mulch, soil, and other landscape materials.
  • Travel extensively throughout the Orlando region and surrounding areas to meet with clients.
  • Support sales operations with occasional office work including reporting, planning, and customer follow-up.
  • Collaborate with our Homerville, GA facility to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Help establish Ohio Mulch's brand in a new and growing market.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in outside sales, preferably in landscaping, agriculture, or related industries.
  • B2B and B2D experience is highly preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage a territory.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred to better serve a diverse customer base.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly.

Compensation & Growth:

  • Base Salary: $40,000
  • Commission: Anticipated $20,000 in year one, with potential to grow to $40,000+ (The target total compensation for this position is $100,000 or more per year once established.)
  • Opportunity for advancement as the Florida market expands.
