Staff Accountant

A growing, sophisticated asset management firm in El Segundo is looking for a sharp, detail-driven Staff Accountant to join its high-performing finance team. If you love clean reconciliations, smooth workflows, and keeping a balance sheet tight enough to impress any Controller — this is your role.
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys being hands-on, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and wants visibility across accounting operations in a company that values accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
Own Accounts Payable: process invoices, review expense submissions, and ensure accuracy from approval to payment.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts with precision.
Manage and optimize Concur for expenses, workflows, and policy compliance.
Support general ledger activity, journal entries, and month-end close.
Assist with vendor management, treasury processes, and ad-hoc reporting.
Partner with the Finance team to streamline processes and enhance internal controls.
What You Bring
2–4+ years of accounting experience.
Strong AP background with a knack for getting the details right.
Solid experience with bank reconciliations and GL support.
Hands-on experience using Concur (required).
Strong communication skills, reliability, and a team-first attitude.
