ROLE OVERVIEW

We're looking for a Production Assistant to join our fast-paced studio in Pomona, CA. This hands-on role supports our sewing, cutting, and fulfillment teams to ensure each project is completed efficiently and accurately. SCOPE

The Production Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of Stay Other's in-house manufacturing studio, assisting with garment preparation, assembly, and quality control to ensure projects are completed on schedule and at the highest level of craftsmanship.

This role directly contributes to the company's mission to "Empower performance through precision, creativity, and integrity" by upholding production standards that bring our clients' creative visions to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in day-to-day production operations, including cutting, trimming, sorting, labeling, and packaging garments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production floor, workstations, and storage areas.
  • Support equipment setup and breakdown for print, cut, and sewing teams.
  • Monitor materials and inventory; communicate shortages or issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the Production Lead and Operations Director to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Assist in quality control inspections to ensure garments meet Stay Other standards for precision and craftsmanship.
  • Help prepare outgoing shipments and coordinate fulfillment tasks as needed.
  • Uphold safety and workflow procedures on the production floor.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree or technical training a plus).
  • Ability to stand, bend, lift (up to 30 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent time management and teamwork skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn multiple areas of production.
  • Reliability — punctuality and accountability are essential.
  • Prior experience in apparel production, manufacturing, or hands-on creative environments preferred, but not required.
