Job Title: Post Closing Specialist

Primary Duties and Responsibilities


• Review, organize, and scan final documents into the title production system. This

includes logging and mailing original signed loan documents and recorded

instruments.


• Work with loan o􀆯icers, underwriters, and borrowers to resolve any post-closing

discrepancies or clear outstanding conditions.


• Conduct a thorough post-closing audit of completed loan files to ensure they are

accurate, complete, and compliant with all lender and regulatory requirements.


• Prepare and ship closed loan files, including notes and other collateral packages, to

investors or document custodians.


• Provide exceptional service to clients and stakeholders, answering questions and

resolving issues.

Knowledge


• Understanding of loan closing processes, legal documentation, title work, and

relevant regulations.


• Prior Title Post-Closing experience is highly preferred.


• Proficiency with a title production system (SoftPro preferred), and Microsoft O􀆯ice.


• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Skills and Abilities


• Attention to detail is essential for reviewing documents, verifying information, and

preventing errors that could impact property ownership.


• The ability to manage large volumes of work, maintain accurate files, and meet tight

deadlines.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and

colleagues.
