Accounting Clerk Position

Are you a detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining organization, and supporting a team behind the scenes? Join CareFor as an Accounting Clerk and help keep our financial operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

As an Accounting Clerk, you will support our Accounting and Guardianship teams by processing transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring all tasks are completed on time and in accordance with company policies and GAAP standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing expense reports (Concur/SAP)

  • Supporting general ledger reconciliations

  • Assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and long-term care claim submissions

  • Maintaining confidential and organized records

  • Collaborating with multiple departments to ensure efficient workflow

  • May communicate with vendors regarding invoices

  • May assist with long term care insurance claim submissions

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who is:

  • Experienced: 1–2 years of clerical, bookkeeping, or accounting experience

  • Technically proficient: Comfortable working with Excel, QuickBooks, Concur, SAP, or similar systems

  • Detail-oriented: Demonstrates strong accuracy in data entry and record-keeping

  • Trustworthy: Able to maintain confidentiality of financial information

  • Organized: Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

  • Collaborative: Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education & Requirements

  • Associate degree in accounting or a related field

  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (if applicable to job duties)

  • Understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles
