Pharmacy Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various driving roles, including commercial driving, shuttle driving, and delivery services. This position requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, safety protocols, and excellent communication skills to ensure efficient transportation services.
Duties
- Safely operate a variety of medications for transportation purposes.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Load and unload cargo as required, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents that occur while on duty.
- Assist with moving heavy equipment or freight as needed, demonstrating mechanical knowledge when handling complex machinery.
Skills
- Proven experience with a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., CDL for heavy vehicles).
- Experience in shuttle driving or paratransit services is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- SPANISH speaking preferred.
