Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant café team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while delivering exceptional service. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee beverages, assisting customers with their orders, and ensuring that the café runs smoothly. Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately using the Aloha POS system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including workstations, dining areas, and equipment.
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
  • Stay knowledgeable about menu offerings and promotions to effectively assist customers in their selections.

Skills

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
  • Experience in sales and cash handling to manage transactions effectively.
  • Knowledge of food preparation and handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
  • Familiarity with coffee brewing techniques and equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in the food industry or café setting is a plus but not mandatory.
  • A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills to foster collaboration among staff members.
