Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Barista & Mocktail Maker to join our team and create exceptional beverages that leave a lasting impression on our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in crafting high-quality coffee drinks and non-alcoholic mocktails, blending creativity with technical skills. You'll play a crucial role in delivering a premium café experience, ensuring every drink is made with precision, care, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, pour-overs, and cold brews, according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Create unique, well-balanced, and aesthetically pleasing mocktails using fresh, seasonal ingredients and modern techniques.
  • Maintain knowledge of brewing methods, coffee bean varieties, and equipment to provide recommendations to customers.
  • Engage with customers, offering suggestions based on their preferences, answering questions about beverages, and ensuring an overall excellent café experience.
  • Operate and maintain barista equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and blenders, ensuring everything is clean and in proper working order.
  • Maintain inventory levels for coffee, syrups, garnishes, and other ingredients used in drinks, and inform management when supplies need replenishing.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, keeping the workstation clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.
  • Collaborate with the team to design new beverages for the menu, bringing creative ideas and seasonal flavors.
  • Manage orders, handle transactions efficiently, and maintain an organized and well-stocked coffee and mocktail bar area.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming environment and resolving any customer issues promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a barista or in beverage preparation, with strong knowledge of coffee brewing and mocktail mixing.
  • Knowledge of non-alcoholic mixology, with a passion for creating innovative and flavorful drinks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and remain organized during busy periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in every drink.
  • Basic math skills for managing cash transactions and inventory.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Barista certification or relevant training in mixology (preferred but not required).
