The Purchasing Coordinator will work closely with the Purchasing and Sample Team on material needs. This position is a vital part of the organizations sample process, working with an outsourced vendor, shipping our material for them to create samples.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor domestic procurement needs and back order report(s) daily.
  • Create and send purchase orders to vendors for direct buy and special order items; monitor and manage orders until received or drop shipped.
  • Receive inventory using the ERP system and process AP invoices timely, ensuring prompt payment to our vendor partners.
  • Review and resolve receipt to invoicing discrepancies ensuring accurate inventory and vendor payments.
  • Work with other departments to audit, support process improvement initiatives and/or item cleanup as needed.
  • Other duties and ad hoc analysis/reporting as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • 1-3 years of experience in purchasing or inventory management
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • NetSuite software and international purchasing experience a plus

  • Sitting or Standing for extended periods (up to 75%).
